Post published:December 30, 2021 Alicia Cardenas & I performed together in a children’s theatre troupe while growing up in Denver. Monday night she was the victim of a mass shooting spree there. Meanwhile, as this was happening, I was at another rumble, watching “West Side Story.” I only mention this to say: it’s not just the Jets & the Sharks in the 60’s on the big screen. It’s RIGHT NOW.
