Yesterday @janicebremec and I bid our final farewells to our dear friend, mentor, and director, @richardembardo. He came into my life in a magical way and at a pivotal time, when I was just about fed up with Hollywood and acting. I credit him unequivocally with reigniting my passion for the craft, and even kindling a newfound fervor for writing. The solo shows I developed under his tutelage— first in 2003, “Girl in Argentine Landscape,” which I co-produced with Janice as part of a double-bill titled “Miles from Myself,” and later in 2009, “Carnival Knowledge: Love, Lust, and other Human Oddities”— undoubtedly kept me here in Hollywood, and in the acting game. Few people have made such a profound impact on my life as Rich did. I’m forever indebted for the time we had together, albeit devastated to have had it cut so short.

On this #GivingTuesday, won’t you give “War Is Over” a watch? It costs you nothing, and helps children in the Ukraine, Gaza, et al! Inspired by the music of John & Yoko, this Oscar Winning short (whose marketing campaign was designed by my BF), is on YouTube as of TODAY! A portion of the money raised from the video’s monetization will go toward War Child, an international charity dedicated to helping children affected by war and conflict through education, mental health support, and protection services. Remember, War is Over if you want it! Please watch, like, comment & share!
