Monster-Mania Convention, you sure know how to make a freak feel welcome!  Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

Among the highlights of this weekend’s Monster-Mania Convention was when “The Name Game” (as shadowed by TNP – Philly’s Own Rocky Horror Cast) SPONTANEOUSLY CONSUMED MY BODY AND PROPELLED ME UP ON STAGE.  (Fast-forward to Pepper Pepper Bo Bepper, around the 1:30 mark– shortly thereafter, the crowd, and I, GO WILD!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxoWyGZwhcg

…and a sculpture and a dress and homemade Pepper shaker-earrings!

That’s it!  A mug, a bust, a painting, a drawing, a bouquet of roses, a cake?!?!  I have the coolest, most creative fans in the world!

Photographer Carlos Moscat, stylist Anh Vu, makeup artist Stephanie Puleio, & hair stylist Tony Medina killed it in this “Schön! Magazine” shoot!  Check out it’s accompanying interview here:  http://schonmagazine.com/NaomiGrossman

Looking forward to kicking it again with John Carroll Lynch at Monster-Mania Convention the weekend!  Friends in NYC/Philly:  Come kick it with us too!  http://www.monstermania.net/

I love that THIS is the most representative photo of me right now.

I just wrote a eulogy for Ben Woolf, and found myself cracking up at all the anecdotes I can’t include.  Here’s one:
In the midst of shooting “Freak Show,” he texted, “I just got raped.”  Now, I knew he was not a stellar speller, so I responded, “You mean, ‘wrapped?'”  That started the joke.  From that moment on, it was “What time do you think we’ll be raped?”  and “Wow, you got raped late!” and “I can’t wait for the rape party!”  Definitely not eulogy material– but thought fans might appreciate.

It may have been cold outside, but what a warm reception in Pittsburgh!
