Post published:March 3, 2018 So, remember how I KNEW I had to be an actress when I first saw Lily Tomlin perform her one-woman show at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts? Well, I’m back! Today it’s the largest non-profit theatrical organization in the U.S., where my dear, talented artist-friend, Topher Straus (topherstraus.com) recently donated his “Elephant Eyes” in order to raise money for children’s theatre education. So basically, kids like me 30 years ago! AND now, he and I are about to see Hamilton, as part of the auction’s black-tie gala… at the SAME theatre where I first saw Lily. Nice full-circle, eh?

Post published:February 24, 2018 As we mourn iO WEST’s closing this weekend, I can’t help but wax nostalgic of my time there (‘98-‘01). While I never met my spouse there (unlike everyone else, apparently), I did make some life-long, smart, funny friends, like my girl, Kristina Hayes. Our all-girl improv group, “Powerbox” was the hot-ticket for a minute. You can see why!
